After breakfast, take a city tour of Cochin, stopping at St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, a Jewish Synagogue, and a Dutch Palace.Following your sightseeing, you will be driven to Munnar (135 kilometres; 4.30 hours). Anamudi (2695 m), the tallest peak in South India, is located in Munnar, which is 1800 m above sea level. Check in at the hotel. Tea plantations should be visited. Stay at a hotel for the night.

After breakfast, take a full-day tour to Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, where you can witness the Nilgiri Tahr (Hermitragus Hylcrious), a South Indian mountain goat. Visit Mattupatty Dam. Stay at a hotel for the night.

Following breakfast, drive to Periyar (120 miles; 4 hours). Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of India's largest wildlife preserves, which spans 777 square kilometres in the Cardamom Hills of the Western Ghats. In the afternoon, I went on a tour. Spend the night at the hotel.

Early morning game viewing from a boat in the hill-surrounded refuge. Elephants, gaurs, wild canines, otters, freshwater tortoises, and numerous bird species such as kingfishers, hornbills, waterfowls, and fishbowls can be found here. After breakfast, transfer 121 kilometres (4. 5 hours) from Periyar to Kumarakom. The backwaters and Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary in Kumarakom, which is 16 miles from Kottayam, are well-known. This refuge is home to a number of important species, including the Dater or Snake Bird, Little Cormorant, Night Heroin, Golden-backed Woodpecker, Crow Pheasant, White Breasted Water Hen, and Tree Pie. The migratory bird season lasts from November to March.

Breakfast is available in the hotel. Board the houseboat from the Kumarakom Jetty. Staying in this moving castle is a breath-takingly amazing experience. While travelling along a network of canals, one may see varied sceneries of towns, rice fields, coconut palms, fisherman, and local life. After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark in Alleppey. Alleppey is known as the "Venice of the East" because of its restricted canals and backwaters. After travelling 70 kilometres in two hours to Cochin, you will be dropped off at the Kochi airport to catch a flight to your next destination.
