Introduction

Starting and finishing in Srinagar! You can enjoy a 6-day vacation to Srinagar, India, as well as four other Indian towns with the In-depth Cultural vacation Srinagar Highlights Tour. The Srinagar Highlights Tour includes hotel accommodations, a skilled guide, meals, transportation, and other amenities.

Day 1:

Arrival at Srinagar

Our Wagnistrip Exotic consultant will meet you at the Srinagar airport on the day of your arrival and assist you with transportation to your houseboat for the night. Visit floating vegetable gardens and take a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. The rest of the day is free for your preferred leisure activities. Overnight in the Houseboat. Overnight at Houseboat.

Day 2:

At Srinagar

After breakfast today, check out of the houseboat and go on a guided tour of Srinagar. You'll also view Jehangir's Mughal Gardens, including the exquisite Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh, which are located on the far eastern side of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. You will also visit Chashme Shahi. One can stroll around these magnificent, lush gardens and see their water features. Later on the way, stop by a carpet weaving factory. Evening Shikara ride on the lake to "Char Chinar," or the four enormous Chinar trees in the middle of the lake, "Floating Gardens," and intriguing canals. After the tour, check into your overnight lodging.Stay in a hotel for the night.

Day 3:

Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (52 Kms / 1:30 Hrs)

Today, after breakfast, take a day journey to Gulmarg, a spectacular vacation destination in Kashmir noted for its natural 18-hole golf course and ski slopes. It is also the world's highest golf course. Take in the scenery and admire the snow-capped mountains. A cable car can be taken from Gulmarg to Kongdoori and Marry Shoulder.Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 4:

Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar (83 Kms / 2:30 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg (Golden Meadow) for a day trip. Sonamarg is set in the lush, mountainous Sind Valley. Sonamarg is also the beginning point for several exciting hikes to high-elevation Himalayan lakes. Enjoy snow sledding and horseback riding to the Thajiwas glacier (for a fee). On your way back to Srinagar, stop by Manasbal Lake (yet another enticing Lake in the Valley) and the Kheer Bhawani shrine. The latter is the most important shrine for Kashmir's historical Vedic religion, which the Kashmiri Pandits practise.Stay in a hotel for the night.

Day 5:

Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar (90 Kms / 2:30 Hrs)

After breakfast, take a day journey to Pahalgam, The Valley of Shepherds, where you'll get the unique opportunity to see the Saffron Fields. Visit the Anantnag Sulphur Springs as well as the Avantipura Ruins. You should also go to Chandanwari, Aru Valley, Baisaran Valley, and Betab Valley.Stay in a hotel for the night.

Day 6:

Departure from Srinagar

Today morning after breakfast and check out from hotel later transfer to Srinagar airport to board the flight for your home.
