Day 2:

Escape From The Hustle Of Big Cities With Ba Vi Eco Tour (B/L)

After a substantial breakfast at the hotel, our knowledgeable English-speaking guide will accompany you on a tour to Ba Vi, a countryside on the outskirts of Hanoi. Arrive in Ri village and enjoy a welcome drink and snacks before meeting your first host, Mr Duoc, a Vietnam War veteran and tea farm owner. While drinking, listen to anecdotes about Mr. Duoc's life during the war and then visit his tea plantation. You will learn how to select the best tea leaves to produce Vietnam's most delicious beverage.Continue making tea in his little workshop, where the majority of the work is done by hand. After that, take a short drive to Moc village to meet your next host, Mrs. Chin, who will teach you how to cook traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Later, for lunch, enjoy the meals you prepared in a gorgeous tropical garden. After lunch, take a little rest and join Mrs. Chin for a tour around the village. You will visit some local families to learn about the rural lifestyle and how to make tofu, conical hats, and other local items. Then go for a bike ride across the gorgeous paddy fields.Finish your countryside tour with a traditional foot bath in warm water with herbs, prepared according to Muong ethnic minority cuisine. After cycling throughout the village, it will relax you (and your feet). Later, take a shuttle from Ba Vi back to your hotel. In Hanoi, spend the night. Overnight in Hanoi.
